Pressing Words for September

I’ve got accounts all over the web. The one I use most is Facebook. I wish I didn’t, so I’m going on hiatus there during September. Sort of my way of implementing a small, reverse Eternal September. You can google that, it’s well known enough. ByeByeFacebook got me thinking about it again. I needn’t write any of the reasons listed there as they all resonate with me strongly.

If you want to follow my actions and can afford £4.50 a month for the hosting and aren’t picky about how your site looks, get in touch and I’ll host one just like mine for you. I’ll even educate you on its use for a nominal fee you can afford.

Hayo v2

The new Hay Opening Hours is nearly ready to go live. I’ll be collecting updated opening hours in Hay this week. It’s gone a little out of date since launch. The new style may disorientate those with its different colour scheme; the order of content is the same however: Taxi numbers then Open Now, Opening Soon and Timetables for reference. It took a week and a half to get my head around it and build something easier to update. I’m glad I didn’t give up — and who could in the public eye — I hope it proves as useful as ever.
